Mr Potter, Clubmaster

From Club Minutes of 1927

25 applicants for Caddiemaster.

Alexander Potter appointed at £2.5s/week; free house, gas, buy coal.

He was known to have rushed out of the Clubhouse to inform Members that they were not allowed to use an iron off the first tee. This may have come from the restriction on a card from about 1926 which would have been in place when he was appointed.
